Kim McDaniel...
is a devoted parent and wife, and has been a professional therapist for the past fifteen years.
She decided to become a therapist after working with troubled teenagers, when she wasn't much more than a teenager herself. Even then it was clear to her that “troubled” often meant the absence of a developed sense of self, a sense of belonging, and a sense of any hopefulness for the future. She learned early on in her professional career that one person can indeed make a difference. In her counseling practice she endeavors to encourage hopefulness and a sense of purpose by teaching others to advocate for themselves, develop their own individual self, and to become that person who will, in turn, make a positive contribution to the life of another.
